　　　The Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability (GSAIS), Kyoto University, and Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University will hold a joint academic event “Social Implementation of Research on the Environmental Management at Japanese Subsidiaries in Thailand: Collaboration between Industry, Academia and the Government” on June 30, 2023.

The main goal of this event
　　　Mr. Reo Hirata who is a PhD Candidate at GSAIS, Kyoto University, will present the findings of his research about environmental management at Japanese subsidiaries in Thailand. In addition, in collaboration with the Thai government, industry and international organizations, he and the other participants will discuss how to promote environmental management in Thailand.
　　　This event will be positioned as part of Project-Based Research (PBR) which is one of the distinctive characteristics of the GSAIS curriculum. The main goal is to connect Mr. Hirata’s academic research with the activities of various stakeholders in the society.
