Event: from 13:30~, September 29th (Thursday), "Special Lecture by UNESCO Representative to East-Asia Cluster Countries and Director of Beijing Cluster Office" will be held.
Prof. Shahbaz Khan, UNESCO representative to Japan, China, ROK, DPRK, and Mongolia, and the Director of UNESCO Beijing Cluster Office will be invited to give a special lecture at Kyoto University.
Prof. Shahbaz Khan has over 25 years of experience in Sustainable Development, Water Resources Management, Strategy, and Operations. With his expertise in Water Science, Environmental Management, Biodiversity Conservation, Climate Change, and Infrastructure, He has led various international projects. After the special lecture by Mr. Shahbaz Khan, a panel discussion will be held with the participation of the students and Professors. The event welcomes stakeholders from government agencies, UN agencies, academia, and the private sector, who are expected to bring about fruitful discussions with diverse perspectives.
