GSAIS(Shishukan) accepts KU-STAR students.
Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability(Shishukan) accepts students participating in the Kyoto University Short-Term Academic Research (KU-STAR) Program, a short-term research internship programme implemented by the Division of Graduate Studies of Kyoto University with the aim of increasing the number of international graduate students.
This year marks the program’s second iteration, and we have welcomed a total of 31 exceptional students from India selected from among 519 applicants. During the program period, 17 of participants are living together with Japanese students in the dormitory of the Shishukan. On 24 May, a welcome party was held and on 21 June, the students enjoyed Indian home-cooked meals prepared by Indian students and had a good time with faculty members, administrative staff, Shishukan students and Indian students.
