In the symposium, we will discuss the “Convergence of Knowledge” from two perspectives: first, from the perspective of evaluating transdisciplinarity overseas, and second, from the perspective of education and research at graduate schools such as GSAIS. An expert in transdisciplinary research and a policy maker for science, technology, and innovation will share their insights about the duality that exists between disciplines and transdisciplinarity, and to discuss the effective evaluation of “Convergence of Knowledge”.
