How I Can Apply What I Learn at Shishu-Kan
As the globalization progresses, it seems that problems we are facing become worldwide and these problems can be no longer solved by one country. I think it is important to consider other people’s necessity, particularly in times like this. In learning at Shishukan (GSAIS), I would like to think about what I could do for harmonious development and peaceful coexistence on the earth.
These days, international tax avoidance is becoming a problem in the realm of international taxation. On the other hand, it also becomes an important issue that how companies’ international competitiveness is maintained.
While transnational economic activities are increasing, each country’s taxation system remains within each nation. In these situations, how should each country’s taxation be? I aim to draw the picture of international taxation which is adapted for a globalized world, through my research.
