NEWS: Admission Information for Academic Year 2017

The Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability (Shishu-Kan) is a seamless 5-year doctoral program based on the idea of the program for leading graduate school project by MEXT “Graduate School of Advanced Leadership Studies”. The entrance examination for the enrollment in the Academic Year 2017 is scheduled:

* The above text is an English translation of the Application Guidelines for
Academic Year 2017 in Japanese (平成29年度冬季募集学生募集要項).
If any differences in interpretation occur, the Application Guidelines in Japanese are the valid document
that will be used to settle those differences.
Applicants also need to obtain a paper copy of the Application Guideline (only in Japanese) as the valid application
documents are enclosed only in the paper copy.
The text (pp. 33 – 51) is an English translation of the application documents and cannot be used to
apply for admission to Shishu-Kan.
How to obtain the paper copy of the Application Guidelines is explained on p. 27.
However, it may be difficult for those who reside outside Japan to prepare the valid stamped, self-addressed envelope for delivery.
The best way is to ask someone living in Japan to get a copy and send it to you.
Moreover, the payment of the Entrance Examination fee (explained on pp. 45-47) can be done only in Japan.
