The Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability (Shishu-Kan) is a seamless 5-year doctoral program established under the program for leading graduate schools by MEXT. The schedule for application and the entrance examination (enrollment in the Academic Year 2024) is as follows.

Online registration for application: 1-13 December, 2023
Application documents must be received from 8-13 December, 2023
Examination dates: 20 January, 2024

You will need to register online first, download and print the application documents, and physically mail the original to GSAIS.

General Entrance Examination
 
Special Admission for International Students

Applicants for whom the status of residence is “Student” or who are expected to obtain the status of residence “Student” at the time of admission must apply for “Special Admission for International Students”. You cannot apply for “General Entrance Examination”.
